In the 1990s he was almost signed by Trevor Horn to ZTT Records. As well as producing his own material he also works with Robin Schell as part of Life in Digital and also in the band Iconic Sky.

"Life In Digital" is a joint project by John Beagley and Robin Schell, and it's clearly related to the "Buggles" era of "Yes". The music reminds me of Nikki Squire's "Esquire" as well. If you don't care too much that the vocals are excessively Jon-Anderson-like, and that the middle section of "Karma" is heavily borrowed from Clannad's "Always Seems Too Late To Turn", you'll have a good time listening to this retro-prog album.

This album creates a powerful finale to the first part with an incredible line up of stellar musicians. I was totally blown away with the addition of Michael Sadler. Parts One and Two are a concept album with a story that any Sci-Fi fan will fall in love with. Dave is an incredible musician and creates powerful projects with the very best musicians. This album is very highly recommended and best when heard all the way through with Part One for the full story and effect.
